Stubbe Horse Farm offers numerous camps throughout the year, bringing together regular students who want an all-day experience at the farm, and allowing new customers the opportunity to see if horse riding is for them without committing to a lesson schedule. Camps may focus on a theme, such as preparing for a rider level exam or a local show, or be purely fun, including riding games and other activities. Campers will also go through the daily routine of caring for a horse, showing them aspects of horse ownership not normally seen through a lesson program.
Summer camps usually run Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, with early drop-off and late pick-up available if arranged beforehand. Friday afternoons include a BBQ for campers and parents, as well as a demonstration by students for their parents to show them what they’ve learned.
We also offer day camps which last one or two days, providing a condensed all-day lesson schedule that gives students an outlet during vacations from school, and mini-camps, which last 1.5 hours for four Saturdays or Sundays per month and are designed to introduce young children to horses and riding. Parents are encouraged to hang out at the farm and cheer on the new riders! Please see the Events page for upcoming camp scheduling, or browse News & Articles for the latest info.
